This is because this device has the potential to fracture when the patient walks normally or conducts normal activities – like ascending stairs, or rising from a chair. When you’re about to go out in the sun, you should definitely wear sunscreen. But did you know that many sunscreen sprays contain flammable ingredients, most commonly alcohol? A recent FDA Consumer Update says that it has received reports of five incidents where people wearing spray sunscreen near open flame suffered significant burns; significant enough to require medical treatment.
