We want to assure you that we take the health and well-being of our community, clients, co-workers and all of our family members very seriously. Like you, we have closely monitored the Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.
We closed our offices in March of 2020 to comply with the relevant state orders regarding the pandemic. As Boston, Massachusetts and California have slowly lifted restrictions, we began allowing employees to work in the offices while wearing masks and observing strict Covid protocols.
After temporarily lifting its indoor mask mandate this summer, Boston reinstated it effective August 27, 2021. California also announced that it recommends the wearing of masks indoors, effective July 28, 2021. Colorado and the city of Denver recommend, but do not require, the wearing of masks indoors.
Vaccination and Mask Policies
Thornton Law Firm requires masks be worn by all employees or visitors.
Employees are required to show their vaccination card in person at the time of their first day of return to the office. There are no exceptions to this policy.
Firm guests and clients must also show their vaccination card in person before entering the office.
Employees, clients, and guests should not e-mail photographs of their vaccine cards. Instead, wait until you are next in the office to show your card. It is acceptable for a client or guest to show their card to the Thornton employee with whom they are meeting.
Those not yet vaccinated should strongly consider the use of an N-95 (or equivalent) mask when present in the office.
