Plaintiffs’ law firm Thornton Law Firm is pleased to welcome our newest associate, Ginger Gibbs, to our Boston office. Ginger will focus her practice on many of the causes and cases that the firm is known for, representing mesothelioma and asbestos exposure victims, children born with birth defects from their parent’s chemical exposures, and clients who have sustained personal injuries. She is admitted in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and the United States District Court for the District of Massachusetts.

A Louisiana native, Ginger is a graduate of the University of New Orleans, Louisiana where she majored in Finance.  She attended Regent University in Virginia Beach, Virginia earning a Master of Arts in Government with a concentration on International Politics and Middle Eastern studies. While earning her undergraduate and graduate degree, Ginger worked as a paralegal assisting attorneys with civil litigation, corporate law, domestic relations, and bankruptcy cases.  She also interned with United Nations delegates and non-governmental organizations as an assistant researching and drafting conference resolutions aimed at combating human trafficking and helping empower women and children in undeveloped and repressive countries.  Ginger attended Florida Coastal School of Law in Jacksonville, Florida on an academic scholarship.  She completed her Juris Doctor in 2014.

As a law student, Ginger performed over 1,000 pro bono hours assisting combat wounded veterans and gold star families, women in crisis, and domestic human trafficking survivors.  Ginger currently volunteers as an attorney with the Women’s Bar Foundation Family Law Project helping survivors of intimate partner violence and domestic abuse.  In June of this year, the Women’s Bar Foundation awarded Ginger with the Nery Arrano Pro Bono Award for her service and advocacy to survivors across Massachusetts.

Prior to joining Thornton Law Firm, Ginger gained substantial federal and state court litigation experience working with an international intellectual property firm and a Boston-based boutique civil litigation firm.

We are delighted to welcome Ginger Gibbs to Thornton Law Firm as part of our growing team dedicated to meeting our clients’ needs. Please give us a call at 888-491-9726 if we can assist you with your legal problem.
